Think of Rag Pudding, potted meats and fish, crumpets, egg and potato salad, fish pie, Reg Johnson’s Goosnargh chicken, dripping chips with cheese and onion sauce, salt baked celeriac, traditional English trifle and of course my famous Bread & Butter pudding.
